USES

Transducer Assembly

Used to detect the input which is the heartbeat pulse and it is placed on the patient's chest

Rubber Tubing

Serves as path of the weak signal from the trancducer to the heartbeat counter assembly

Transducer Compartment

Used for placing the transducer assembly and rubber tubing when not in use

Liquid Crystal Display

Used as an output device for instructions needed as well as it gives the result of the test together with its remarks

LED Indicator

Serves as the power indicator of the device

START Button

When pressed, it begins the operation of the de3vice by counting the patient's heartbeat

RESET Button

Used to restart the operation of the whole system

PRINT Button

When pressed, it prints the total number of heartbeat pulses per minute together with its remarks

Power Switch

Applies power to the device when switch is turned ON and LED is illuminated. Power is turned OFF by pressing the switch again and the LED goes out

Printer Port

Serves as an output interface of the device. This is where the dot matrix printer is attached.
